Geomorphological Processes
Includes the study of weathering, erosion, landforms, rivers and coasts. Flooding, tectonic processes, earthquakes, and volcanoes. Case studues might include Montserrat, Bangladesh.

Weather and Climate
Includes mcroclimates, local and national weather, hydrological cycle, types of rainfall. British Isles, weather hazards, and climate change.

Settlement
Includes reason for site, satuation, function, rural and urban areas, changes in function. Urban land use models, settlement hierorchies, location of world cities.

Economic Activity
Classification of economic activity. Location factors for industry. Global economic activity, global distribution of industry, and globalisation. NEDCs and LEDCs.

Environmental Issues
UK National Parks, conflict, agriculture, conservation and landuse. Forestry, industry, landfill, tourism, power, pollution, urbanisation and transport.
