At Durlston Court pupils are prepared for their place in society. Durlston's ethos is that of a caring family.

Pupils are encouraged to develop their knowledge and understnding in a secure environment.

Pupils develop during their time at the school their own views and values based on a secure framework. They work from an informed base.

Humanities at Durlston is taught in an integrated way, although each of the three disciplines has a distinct timetabled slot for lessons.
