Catering at Durlston

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Here at Durlston we pride ourselves in producing only food of the highest quality, our team of catering staff are totally dedicated.

Mike Turner our Chef Manager has over 25 years of experience, including catering for the Directors and Governor of the Bank of England, where he has cooked for the Queen and many members of the Royal Family.

He and his family moved to Dorset to open his own French Restaurant in 1994.

 

His assistant, Fiona Wedge, produces an excellent fresh salad bar offering extensive choice of homemade salads.

She also makes homemade desserts and cakes and biscuits, and sweets include fruit crumbles, chocolate sponge, lemon tart etc.

Mike produces many excellent meals which include dishes such as steak pudding, southern fried chicken, weekly roast, salmon with a mushroom and dill sauce etc.

Homemade vegetarian dishes are also produced daily.

 

In addition to a first class lunch, Durlston pupils have a mid-morning sandwich, vegetables or fruit with a drink and in the afternoon there is always a delicious cake or fresh fruit together with a drink.

SPECIAL DIETS
Here at school we cater for every dietary requirement. We have a nut free policy within the school.
